Questions never to ask a magician

An anthology of the questions I'm asked at each of my performances

Can you turn a €5 bill into a €500 bill? (hahaha)

No, if I knew how to do that, I wouldn’t be here today! And above all, if someone had given me €1 every time I heard that joke, I’d be living happily ever after on a small island in Bora Bora.

Can you make my wife disappear?

Making my clients’ wives “disappear” wasn’t good for business. I had to stop. On the other hand, I always offer the woman cut in half trick (cleaning service extra).

Can you tell me a secret?

During my student days, I used my magic skills to make little camemberts disappear in my school canteen (and reappear in my stomach).

Is this your real job or a hobby?

One of the most frequently asked questions of magicians. It’s both slightly off-putting and completely understandable. Yes, it’s a real job: it takes years of work to master certain tricks, there’s all the administrative paperwork, responding to requests for quotes, rehearsals on the big day and, of course, the show itself. But for a 2 or 3-hour show, it can take several days of work beforehand.
